Focus is on creating XHTML compliant web pages by hand with emphasis placed on browser compatibility issues and XHTML validation. WEB150 focuses on the use of JavaScript and Dynamic HTML for creating web sites. Students will build fundamental skills to build custom JavaScript code, or adapt the JavaScript of others as available in books or on the web. During the class we'll cover event handlers (such as mouse overs), standard and custom functions, form validation, string handling, the document object model (DOM), arrays, objects and implementing JavaScript APIs.
Introduces basic computing concepts such as Input-Processing-Output, control structures, arrays, structured programming and object-oriented programming in the C# language and Visual Studio .NET 2005 environment.
